چکیده
The current paper is dedicated to developing a (3+1) decomposition for the minimal gravitational Standard-Model Extension. Our setting explicit diffeomorphism violation and we focus on background fields known in literature as $u$ $s^{\mu\nu}$. Hamiltonian formalism developed these contributions, which amounts deriving modified momentum constraints. We then study connection between constraints Einstein equations. Implications are drawn form of guarantee internal consistency corresponding modified-gravity theories. In course our analysis, obtain set requirements certain sectors argue that constraint structure remains untouched when conditions satisfied. results shed light violations invariance local Lorentz gravity. They may turn out be valuable better understanding effective

construction of vector fields with positive lyapunov exponents
in this thesis our aim is to construct vector field in r3 for which the corresponding one-dimensional maps have certain discontinuities. two kinds of vector fields are considered, the first the lorenz vector field, and the second originally introced here. the latter have chaotic behavior and motivate a class of one-parameter families of maps which have positive lyapunov exponents for an open in...

In the covariant cosmological perturbation theory, a 1+3 decomposition ensures that all variables in the frame-independent equations are covariant, gauge-invariant and have clear physical interpretations. We develop this formalism in the case of BransDicke gravity, and apply this method to the calculation of cosmic microwave background (CMB) anisotropy and large scale structures (LSS). We modif...
متن کاملBackground fields in 2+1 topological gravity.
The partition function of 2+1 Chern-Simons Witten topological gravity has an attractive physical interpretation in terms of the unbroken and broken phases of gravity. We make this physical interpretation manifest by using the background field method. Supported by the Royal Society England.
متن کاملHamiltonian quantization of effective Lagrangians with massive vector fields.
Effective Lagrangians containing arbitrary interactions of massive vector fields are quantized within the Hamiltonian path integral formalism. It is proven that correct Hamiltonian quantization of these models yields the same result as naive Lagrangian quantization (Matthews’s theorem). This theorem holds for models without gauge freedom as well as for (linearly or nonlinearly realized) spontan...
متن کاملIs Barbero’s Hamiltonian formulation a Gauge Theory of Lorentzian Gravity?
This letter is a critique of Barbero’s constrained Hamiltonian formulation of General Relativity on which current work in Loop Quantum Gravity is based. We show that if one tries to interpret Barbero’s real SO(3) connection as a space–time gauge field, the theory is not diffeomorphism invariant. In this respect, Barbero’s connection is quite different from Ashtekar’s, which does admit a space–t...
